What is billet aluminum?
Aluminum billet or aluminum billet is one of the types of products used in extrusion industries.

DC method to produce aluminum billet and its advantages
The DC casting process is called an operation in which metals are cooled slowly and under specific conditions after being placed in the desired mold and taking the initial shape. With this method, metals with low depth can be produced in specific forms. DC method or continuous casting was discovered and used for the first time in 1933.
In the continuous casting method, when the bottom layer of the metal is cold and hard, it is gradually separated from the mold. In the next step, water is poured on the upper surface so that the freezing operation is done faster and with higher quality. Among the advantages of the DC method for producing aluminum billets are the following:
- Fast separation of metal from the mold
- Production of various billets in terms of size
- Minimizing the amount of cracks and maceration on or inside the alloys
- Use of low temperature for billet production
- Regular and uniform operation without additional risk
Advantages of DC casting:
- Fast separation of metal from the mold
- Producing billets of different sizes
- Reducing the amount of cracking on or within alloys
- Using low temperature to produce Rizvan aluminum billet
- The operation is carried out in a regular and smooth manner without risk and additional risk.
